Cellulose cooling pads, 7090 and 5090

Honeycomb cellulose cooling pads made on our own line near Mumbai, in 7090 and 5090 grades, cut to size, with pad framing and production lines.

Cellulose cooling pads

Honeycomb cooling pads made on our own production line

Evaporative cooling pads, also called cellulose or honeycomb cooling pads, are blocks of corrugated kraft paper glued in crossing flutes. Water runs down through the flutes while air passes through, and the evaporation cools the air. They are the heart of every industrial cooler, poultry house and greenhouse pad wall.

E-Cool makes cellulose cooling pads on its own production line near Mumbai. Our pads reach above 80% cooling efficiency, and a drop of water spreads across the pad in 4 to 5 seconds. We use them in our own industrial coolers and supply them to cooler brands, poultry farms and greenhouses.

7090 pads have taller flutes, so air passes with less resistance; they suit poultry houses, greenhouses and large pad walls. 5090 pads have more surface per block and suit air coolers where compact pads must cool hard.

Why our pads

What makes a good cooling pad

Higher water retention

Pads stay evenly wet, so air is cooled across the whole face.

Rigid, glue-bonded structure

Holds its shape when wet and does not sag in the frame.

Long life, easy care

Washable, with an anti-bacterial option for hygiene-sensitive sites.

Made in India

Produced on our own line, so we control quality and can cut to any size.

FAQ

Cooling Pads: common questions

What is the difference between 7090 and 5090 cooling pads?

The first digit is the flute height: 7090 has 7 mm flutes and 5090 has 5 mm flutes, both at a 45° × 45° angle. 7090 lets air through more easily; 5090 packs more wet surface into each block.

Are cellulose and honeycomb cooling pads the same?

Yes. Honeycomb cooling pad is another name for a cellulose evaporative cooling pad, after the pattern of its crossing flutes.

How efficient are your cooling pads?

Our cellulose pads reach above 80% cooling efficiency, and a drop of water spreads across the pad in 4 to 5 seconds.

Can you make pads for other cooler brands?

Yes. Pads are cut to size, so we can supply replacements for coolers of any brand. Send us the size.

How long do cooling pads last?

Pad life depends on water quality and cleaning. Draining the tank regularly, using a filter net and washing scale off the pads all extend their life.

Which thickness for a poultry house?

150 mm pads give more cooling for hot regions and long houses; 100 mm pads suit smaller sheds and milder climates.

What is the HSN code for cooling pads?

E-Cool invoices cellulose cooling pads under HSN 4823 90 90.
